Well things are good at our place. Jeffs car broke down and Jeff has been fixing it and I have been stuck at home with no car. For all those of you that are wondering about the police job, Jeff passed the physical test and written test and now is waiting to hear from them. There was about 70 people that applied and took the tests but not everyone passed so I guess we will see how that goes. I am done with my CNA class and just waiting to hear back so I can take the final tests.
We recently got our power bill and we're not too happy about that so we decided to put some insulation in the attic and we are probably going to get a new window in the breakfast nook. But just to let everyone know, you can get insulation done for practical free. Questar gas gives you a rebate so basic they pay for all but about 20 bucks. It really helps keep the cost of your bill down and saves energy. So we will see how that goes. They also give you a rebate for new windows. The guy told me they won't be doing the rebate stuff forever so get it done now while they are doing the rebates.
so why is your power bill or gas bill so high? Just cause there is no insulation? Well, let us know if jeff gets accepted! Also with you, you looking to get a job as a CNA? They are hiring all over! Good job to the both of you! Keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteOur gas bill was $175!! It's because we have a really old house (1944) and back then they didn't insulate it very well so they are going to add insulation to the attic.
ReplyDeleteI am not looking for a job any more. I got a job offer from a friend doing some financial stuff at home so that will be good.
Sienna is SO adorable! I need to come play with her! I didn't know you have been stuck at home all this time, you should have called me! THat's great you got a job offer for working at home! That's perfect! :)
